Gabrielle smith

A North Carolina native, Gabby Smith is a teacher of English literature, who focuses on Afro-American and Caribbean literature. With a master's in English from Seton Hall university, she's worked all over the US developing curriculum for various charters. Currently she works and lives in Baltimore, MD with her two dogs Hen and Cap.

Dafne is a proud first generation college student studying to become a high school teacher in History at Aurora Community College. She is a family oriented person who enjoys activities with her family. Not much of an outdoor person, she would rather sit inside and paint or just read a nice book with a large cup of coffee. She is really looking forward to moderating discussions for Activism@Work.

Reagan is a 10th grader who is actively involved in student government at her high school, Senior in Girl Scouts, and YouthPlatform where she is currently the moderator of Activism@Work leadership training program. She enjoys spending time outside doing activities such as hiking and camping with her family. Reagan wants to lend a voice to the foster care system and homelessness. Through her leadership experiences, Reagan hopes to gain more insight into social problems around the world to make her an engaged member of society.

Ximena is a sophomore in high school. She really likes vibing out to music and spending time with her family. She prefers the indoors, treating herself to a good cup of coffee and sour candy. Occasionally she will venture outdoors when the weather is not too hot and not too cold so she can take a deep breath. She is happy to be taking part in Activism@Work and is looking forward to meeting all the participants.
